TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Applications for courses:

NOTE: We reserve the right to refuse to accept any application without any obligation to give reason(s) for such refusal.

Fees quoted to enquirers are per person.

To apply for any of our courses, you should contact us and request current details about the course and the Learner Application Form. Please return the completed Learner Application Form along with copies of relevant educational certificates, and any other supporting documentation we may request (these may include your Curriculum Vitae, or job references for example). A booking deposit of €100 must be paid with return of the completed Learner Application Form. In the event that the application is declined by us, the booking deposit will be refunded to the applicant. In the event of an applicant not completing their application and paying the balance of their fees before the commencement of their course or programme the booking deposit will be forfeit.

After the receipt of your application, we reserve the right to conduct an interview to assess your eligibility for admission to the course. We may exempt an applicant from an interview at our discretion. After successful completion of an interview (if any) an invoice will be issued to the applicant (or to their sponsor/funder if we have agreed to this), for payment of the fees in full (less the booking deposit already paid). Fees are payable in advance by individuals. Subject to our discretion, we may accept payment from a sponsor/funder on behalf of the applicant. At our discretion we may provide such a sponsor/funder with the facility to pay the fees on credit in accordance with such credit terms as we may set out. Where a sponsor/funder is paying the fees on credit these must generally be paid within 30 (thirty) days of the date of the invoice. These credit terms may be changed by us at any time without notice. Once fee payment is resolved, the student will be issued with an email confirming acceptance to the course. In the event that fees are unpaid by a sponsor/funder within the credit period, we reserve the right to remove the student from the course and to cancel any registration with any accreditation or certification body.

Applications are generally taken on a first-come-first-served basis at our discretion. It is recommended that applicants enrol as early as possible. In advance of the course or programme a formal notification of acceptance and of commencement dates and related arrangements will be sent to the student by e-mail. We make reasonable efforts to avoid altering commencement and conclusion dates. However, should any changes be necessary, the student will be notified at the earliest possible opportunity.

We reserve the right, at any time to make whatever changes may be deemed necessary in admission requirements, fees, charges, tuition, policies, regulations and academic programmes.

We reserve the right to alter timetables at any time for any reason.

What is covered in the fees ?

Fees cover the cost of tuition and a once-off licence to use the course materials we may provide (if any), from time to time. These materials are provided as digital files downloadable from our Online Support System. Printed copies of these materials are not provided. Textbooks or other materials are not included. Access to the Online Support System will be provided to properly registered students only. This access is provided to the student only who may not transfer it to, or share it with, another party. Copyright in all materials on the Online Support Systems remains with the owner, not the student. 

We also reserve the right to change the level of fees payable from time-to-time at our discretion.

Invoicing and VAT:

Depending on the relevant statutory provisions pertaining from time-to-time, some courses or programmes may be subject to VAT. All fees quoted are exclusive of VAT and other taxes which may have to be added to the total cost.

Fees payable to accreditation/certification or other third parties:

Fees such as registration and examination fees for accreditation / certification bodies and professional and examination bodies (if any) or any other necessary third parties, are payable separately by the student. Students will be advised of these details at the appropriate time. Failure to pay such fees by notified dates will result in students not being eligible to sit examinations or other assessments. Prospective students should also note that such examination, registration and other fees are determined by external bodies and are therefore subject to change without prior notice.

At our discretion we may charge students a combined total fee to incorporate such fees and our own fees. This will be clarified at the point of initial invoicing.

Fees refund policy:

All courses run subject to demand and the formation of a viable class cohort. While we make reasonable effort to ensure that advertised courses run this is subject to this condition. If there are insufficient applications for your course your booking deposit will be refunded in full. Where full fees have been paid in advance and the course cannot commence for this reason, we are liable to refund the full fees. However, once a student has enrolled on a programme of study, no part of any course fee is refundable or transferable. No refund will be made under any circumstances to students who fail to attend classes or who do not complete a course. Course commencement and start dates are dependent upon a viable cohort formation.

Scheduling or examinations and assessments:

Prospective students should note that examinations or other forms of assessment may be scheduled by the relevant external body (if any), often during daytime during a working week.  It is the student’s responsibility to make sure they inform themselves of any details related to examinations and assessments, including entry criteria and dates.

Duty of care/personal responsibility

All persons entering onto any premises used by us, as students or otherwise, do so at their own risk and acknowledge their duty of care to themselves and others, including to our personnel and contractors.

We accept no responsibility for any student’s personal possessions while they may be on any premises used by us for our business. We will not be held liable for any property or money lost on any premises used by us for our business.

Other:

Students may not use our address to receive mail and if they do they do so at their own risk. We accept no responsibility for any loss of mail belonging to students.

Any arrangement made by a third party on behalf of a student binds both the third party and the student to any Terms and Conditions as we may have in force from time-to-time.

Students may not take vacation from classes without our prior approval.
